libdigest-perl-md5-perl software package provides Perl Implementation of Rivests MD5 algorithm, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdigest-perl-md5-perl
libdigest-perl-md5-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdigest-perl-md5-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdigest-perl-md5-perl *
You will get with libdigest-perl-md5-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
